ISOBEL + NICK’S BARNSLEY HOUSE WEDDING

Barnsley House, The Cotswolds

A smallish wedding with around 50 guests, Nick and Isobel’s summer wedding was one of the prettiest I have photographed. Barnsley House is arguably one of The Cotswold’s finest boutique hotels with a beautifully warm and chic atmosphere and the most glorious cottage gardens. The house is small but grand at the same time and there’s a very special feeling when you are there. Isobel and Nick’s wedding ceremony took place outside under a tree with a piano playing. Drinks in the garden and a stunning reception inside the hotel’s restaurant followed. At dusk cocktails took place around the candle lit pond along with sparklers and a band. Their gallery is discreet and tasteful, which reflect them, and whilst there are some really beautiful shots of Nick and Isobel, the emphasis is also on grounds, the details and candid shots of guests. Only through a combination of all of these do you get a truly rounded gallery that is pretty, has atmosphere, depth and humour. It was honestly the perfect day for the loveliest couple.
